What is Hard Water?

Hard Water is that water which has high salt content such as magnesium & Calcium. With increasing use of ground-well water and water level going down day-by-day the concentration of dissolved mineral content in water is going up rapidly. As a result, the water supplied to most of urban indian households is hard.
